A year described as beautiful, with a cool spring, hot summer and some useful rain.
80% Sangiovese, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Colorino. Matured in barrel 18-24 months.
Garnet color with barely orange nail. Nose obviously evolved but surprising in its composure with pot-pourri, rhubarb, licorice and tobacco. In the mouth it has refreshing acidity, fine, silky tannin and a certain lightness of flavor. Finish between licorice and incense.
