Elevate your choice – Wine, beauty and territory. Celebrating 40 years of passion, identity and wine innovation is the goal of the 40th Anniversary of Consorzio Vini Asolo Montello

The 40th Anniversary of Consorzio di tutela Vini Asolo Montello will be held on Sunday, October 12 , 2025 in the splendid setting of Villa Barbaro, in Maser (TV), one of the most monumental Andrea Palladio-designed villas in the heart of the Asolo Montello area. Organized by the Consorzio Vini Asolo Montello, the event is open to the public and invites anyone who loves wine culture to discover the history, taste and landscape of a unique territory.

The event will be structured as a true celebration. The hills of Asolo and Montello will be told among vineyards, memories, views and bottles. Scheduled will be tastings of the denomination’s wines – Asolo Prosecco Docg, Montello Docg and Montello Asolo Doc – that will accompany moments of storytelling about the past, present and challenges for the future. The Consortium, which now has 475 members distributed in 18 municipalities, intends in this way to toast not only to the years gone by, but to the ongoing commitment to quality, landscape protection and the enhancement of the local wine-making tradition.

Villa Barbaro, with its historical and architectural charm, will provide the ideal setting for an experience that combines culture, nature and taste. Participants will then have the opportunity to stroll through elegant settings, breathe in the history of the place, explore the surrounding vineyards and stop for tastings that tell of terroir, technique and passion. It is an invitation not only to taste, but to connect with a territory: to understand what makes Asolo Montello unique, what its roots are, what its future prospects are.

The event program:

The event will be open to the public on Sunday, October 12, 2025from 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Beginning at 11 a.m., it will be possible to taste wines from the Asolo Prosecco Superiore Docg, Montello Docg and Montello Asolo Doc appellations at the tasting counters of 40 Consortium producers. There will also be two stations dedicated to small local productions

The day’s appointments:

• 10:30 a.m. Convocation of authorities
• 11:00 a.m. Inauguration of the event
• 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Masterclass by Armando Castagno entitled: ASOLO PROSECCO – Five centuries of Veneto art: rhythm, matter, composition, harmony
• 3:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m. Masterclass by Armando Castagno entitled: ROSSI DEL MONTELLO – The Venetian Renaissance between color, shadows, mystery and pathos
• 6:00 p.m./7:30 p.m. Aperitif accompanied by live music with DJ-set and saxophonist.
• 7:30 p.m. Conclusion.
