Vinicoli 2025 – Anghiari, Dec. 6-8: For three days, Vinicoli transforms the village into a food and wine trail with tastings, masterclasses and wines of excellence

From Dec. 6 to 8, 2025, the medieval village of Anghiari (AR) will come alive with the third edition of Vinicoli, the event dedicated to the best national and international wine expressions, organized in the heart of the historic center, among fascinating views, squares and suggestive corners.

Strolling through the alleys, wine lovers, consumers and professionals will be able to taste a selection of fine wines paired with local dishes, living an authentic and immersive experience.

Participating in Vinicoli 2025 means immersing yourself in an experience that combines wine with the historical and cultural roots of one of Italy’s most beautiful villages. It is the perfect opportunity to discover excellent wines and meet producers in a cozy and convivial setting, but also to enjoy the village’s Christmas atmosphere with a glass in hand. The tastings, food pairings and masterclasses make the event ideal for wine enthusiasts, the curious and wine professionals.

Inaugural dinner: a tribute to the “King of Autumn”

Officially kicking off Vinicoli 2025 will be an inaugural dinner on Dec. 5, at La Nena Restaurant on Corso Matteotti 10/14, in Anghiari. The theme of the evening is evocative: “Homage to the King of Autumn,” a title that celebrates season, wine and conviviality. Reservations required, and seating is limited to 25 people.

This is an exclusive moment: an intimate gastronomic experience in which selected dishes meet great wine labels, anticipating the tasting path that will enliven the following days among the alleys of the village.

The tasting route: flavors, wine and territories

Vinicoli’s itinerary in Anghiari includes a tasting tour structured in four thematic stages, each paired with local dishes:

• Goblets of life – bubbles and appetizers with sparkling wines and appetizers in the Vicar’s Gardens
• The great tastings-whites, rosés, macerates-in symbolic spots such as the Grand Duke’s Cellar and the Vicar’s Feud.
• Wine icons-reds and main courses, with food pairings at Il Pizzicagnolo and Bistrot Talozzi.
• Sweet palate – spirits, desserts, DJ set, with spirits tasting, artisanal desserts and musical moments at Bar Teatro.

To participate in the tasting tour, you must pick up at one of the info-points in Anghiari (Audiovisual Room in Piazza del Popolo or Loggette in Piazza Baldaccio) the personalized bag with glass and coaster.

Masterclasses and insights

Bookable master classes are scheduled during the event. Scheduled topics include:

• Wines and Salumi: a journey through the ancient Roman wine tank, territorial salumi and self-taught wines, by ONAS and Retrogusti (Dec. 7 and 8, 4-5 p.m.).
• Border Wines and Cheeses: Tuscan and Umbrian wines meet typical cheeses for an exciting gastronomic dialogue (Dec. 7 and 8, 6-7 p.m.).
