2026 Independent Winemakers’ Wine Market: From November 21 to 23, the FIVI Wine Market returns to BolognaFiere for three days of tastings featuring Italian and European winemakers and independent producers.
The Event
From November 21 to 23, 2026, BolognaFiere will host the 15th edition of the FIVI Independent Winemakers’ Wine Market, an event dedicated to artisanal wine and the work of those who oversee the entire production cycle firsthand, from grape cultivation to bottling and marketing.
The event offers the public the opportunity to meet the winemakers, learn about their stories, and taste and purchase wines directly from them. Approximately 1,000 winemakers from all Italian regions are expected to attend, joined by delegations of European winemakers belonging to national associations that are members of CEVI, the Confédération Européenne des Vignerons Indépendants.
Alongside the wineries, olive oil is also featured, with the participation of companies affiliated with FIOI, the Italian Federation of Independent Olive Growers. The joint presence of winemakers and olive growers underscores the event’s connection to agricultural production, the local area, and the landscape.
The market covers approximately 40,000 square meters spread across four pavilions. To make shopping easier, shopping carts and trolleys are available to transport bottles to the parking lot, and a home delivery service is also offered.
The 2026 Program
The program includes masterclasses organized in collaboration with ALMA – The International School of Italian Cuisine. Also featured are the “Leonildo Pieropan” Award, dedicated to the memory of one of FIVI’s founders, and the “Vignaiolo come noi” Award, awarded to a prominent figure from the worlds of culture, journalism, sports, business, or entertainment who shares the values of quality, professionalism, and artisanal craftsmanship.
In 2026 as well, the Market will extend its reach to the city through “Fuori Mercato,” a program of events held at venues in Bologna and the surrounding province. The detailed schedule of side events is currently being updated on the official website.
