100% Cannonau. Matures in tonneau and large barrels for 12 months. Deep ruby with some garnet reflections. The aromas are a concentration of spices and Mediterranean scrub seasoned with a delicate marine vein. The structure is full as befits an “important” Cannonau, but at the same time it is enlivened by well-regulated acidity and fine tannins. Long, austere finish with great breadth.
