G.D. Vajra

Aldo and Milena Vajra have been making wine in Barolo for more than forty years, and during this time they have made a name for themselves thanks to their skill, “enhanced” by uncommon human qualities, including an old-fashioned, almost touching warmth. They own vineyards such as Bricco delle Viole and even plots in Coste and Fossati, which they use for Dolcetto. These are great regional wines—elegant, refined, and traditional. A few years ago, they also took over the small but prestigious winery of Luigi Baudana in Serralunga, which owns part of the cru of the same name.
