La Viarte

Prepotto stretches along the Judrio Valley, a torrential river that forms the border with Slovenia for a long stretch. La Viarte is located on one of these hills, surrounded by vineyards at an altitude of nearly 200 meters. Here, the daily temperature range and the cool Bora winds blowing in from the Balkans promote the health of the vines and enhance the aromatic profile of the grapes. Over time, La Viarte has preserved the biodiversity of the surrounding area thanks to the 13 hectares of woodland surrounding the winery and the 24 hectares of contiguous vineyards.
