The Baumgartner family’s vineyards are perhaps the northernmost in the Eisack Valley and the province of Bolzano, and young Hannes has been able to express the spirit of this frontier area to the fullest. The progress of this winery is truly impressive, especially since it was made so quickly. These are whites with a strong personality, austere to the limits of severity but of undoubted charm and stylistic rigor.
