DoctorWine is pleased to present in Brussels a new project dedicated to the international promotion of Italian wine, featuring oenologist Lorenzo Landi, special guest speaker at a day-long tasting event with two seminars reserved for industry professionals, trade press and advanced wine enthusiasts.

The initiative was created with a clear objective: to tell the story of wine through the direct voice of those who create it, focusing on the work of the winemaker, his vision and the deep connection with the territories in which he works.
During the seminar, Lorenzo Landi will lead participants on a tasting journey through some of the most significant expressions of the Italian vineyard, the result of his technical consultancy.

With more than 25 years of experience, a background in Agricultural Sciences and a specialization in Enology at the University of Bordeaux, Lorenzo Landi is now recognized as one of the most influential figures on the contemporary Italian wine scene. His work has contributed to the growth and affirmation of numerous wineries in Tuscany, Umbria, Sicily and other important wine territories, always respecting the identity of places and varieties.

A non-invasive philosophy of excellence

The heart of the seminars will be Lorenzo Landi’s winemaking philosophy, founded on theexaltation of terroir. Far from the idea of an “imposed style,” his approach is distinguished by a discreet, almost “invisible” presence that allows soil, climate and grape variety to express themselves fully in the glass.

“Our goal is not just to produce great wines, but wines that are authentic expressions of their origin,” says Lorenzo Landi. “In Brussels we present wineries that share this vision, capable of combining tradition, technical knowledge and modern, sustainable winemaking practices.”
