La Raia

Giorgio Rossi Cairo bought the first farms of La Raia, in the municipality of Novi Ligure, in the northern part of the Gavi district, in 2002 and has come a long way in that time. There is not only wine in his project but also the production of fruit, vegetables and organic products. The whole farm, in fact, is run with eco-sustainable regimes and for the wine part the certification is biodynamic. Consistent with this “credo,” the winery houses a Steiner school and a kindergarten in its premises.
