Wine, Health, and Longevity: The National Medical-Scientific Congress on October 24 at Villa Russiz. Science, medicine, and the local region at the historic Friulian estate

Longevity sciences, clinical evidence, and institutional dialogue: these are the three pillars of the National Medical-Scientific Congress and Institutional Forum “Wine, Health & Longevity 2026,” scheduled for October 24
2026 at the Villa Russiz Foundation in Capriva del Friuli (GO). The event will feature 260 participants and is sponsored by the Municipality of Capriva del Friuli, IRVAS (Institute for Research on Wine, Food, and Health), and Wine in Moderation.

The program consists of a morning scientific session offering ECM (Continuing Medical Education) credits and an afternoon session open to the public and institutions.

Morning Scientific Session – ECM Accreditation

The morning session, moderated by Dr. Roberto Marini and Andrea Marocco, is dedicated to clinical and
insights into the relationship between moderate consumption of wine and coffee, metabolism, and longevity. The speakers:

To conclude the CME session, a presentation by Prof. Attilio Giacosa (President of the Institute for Research on Wine, Food, and Health | Adjunct Professor of Clinical Nutrition, University of Pavia | Gastroenterologist and consultant, Italian Diagnostic Center in Milan and the Humanitas San Pio X Group): “Wine and the Mediterranean Diet: A Global and Holistic Perspective.”

Afternoon Session – Institutional Forum

The afternoon begins with a series of presentations on various topics.

The conference is organized by Andrea Marocco (President and Scientific Director), a medical student and surgery student at
and holder of a HealthTech patent, and by Dr. Roberto Marini (President and Scientific Director), a cardiologist and nephrologist and national advisor to ANCE. The scientific committee brings together clinicians in Internal Medicine
, Hepatology, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, and Clinical Nutrition.
