Alba – Wine Festival 2026

September 27

2026 Wine Festival in Alba: On Sunday, September 20 and 27, the city’s historic center will be transformed into a wine route, with many new features on the program

The Go Wine Wine Festival runs for two Sundays: in late September, Alba’s historic center becomes a “wine route”!

The Go Wine Wine Festival is back in Alba again this year! This is the 28th edition of the event, which showcases the most representative wines of the Langa and Roero regions in the city’s historic center .

The two events scheduled for Sunday, September 20, and Sunday, September 27, 2026, have been confirmed.
The event, organized by Go Wine, is a favorite among wine enthusiasts, both Italian and international; a format that, once again this year, will allow participants to follow the route from Piazza Risorgimento (Piazza Duomo), Via Vittorio Emanuele, and Via Cavour, transforming the historic center into an ideal “wine route” for a day.

The event brings together wineries from the municipalities of Langa and Roero, maintaining its festive atmosphere, which evokes the spirit and joy of the grape harvest, with the participation of local promotional organizations, wineries, wine shops, and producers’ associations. In recent years, participation has also been extended to wineries from municipalities in the Monferrato region.

The open tastings, which begin in the late morning, have been confirmed!

On both days, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., producers—organized through the participating municipalities—will offer tastings of their products and promote their local areas and wines.

From the famous Barolo and Barbaresco—the region’s crown jewels—to the other fine wines of the Langhe and Roero: Nebbiolo d’Alba, Roero, Roero Arneis, Barbera d’Alba, Dolcetto d’Alba, Dolcetto di Diano, and Dolcetto di Dogliani, and many more wines besides.

An extraordinary tasting event is in the works, featuring many different wines: a unique opportunity to discover new and diverse products, to enjoy the charm of a stroll through the city’s historic center, and to explore the signature specialties of the hills surrounding Alba.

Producers from the municipalities of Langhe and Roero will be in attendance, along with producers from Monferrato.

The Go Wine Lounge – Sala Fenoglio
Barolo, Barbaresco & More

Several side events enrich the overall program, starting with the Go Wine Lounge, dedicated exclusively to Barolo and Barbaresco producers, whom visitors can meet by paying a small additional fee on top of the tasting ticket and only during specific time slots (3 sessions) each Sunday:

  • 11:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
  • 1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
  • 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM

Each visitor will be able to participate in tastings (both along the Wine Route and in the Go Wine Lounge) by purchasing a tasting glass and a tasting pouch, with the opportunity to select and compare the wines offered for tasting. Visitors will also have the opportunity to purchase wines directly from the participating producers.

New: Go Wine Lab for Young People – Under 30
Every Sunday at 3:30 p.m.

It was one of the new features of the 2025 edition of the Wine Festival and will be offered again this year. An initiative aimed at young people to introduce them to the world of wine. It’s designed for those under 30, inviting them to participate in a sort of game exploring the colors, aromas, and flavors of the region’s great red wines.
A partially blind tasting, designed to sharpen the senses and encourage reflection on biodiversity, combined with a promotional event focused on enjoyment and learning.
The workshop takes place every Sunday at 3:30 p.m. in the Sala Riolfo, located in the Cortile della Maddalena.
A special surprise (with a free gift) will be in store for all the young participants in this Go Wine Lab.

The Wine Festival is open to participants who have purchased the complete Wine Festival and Go Wine Lab Giovani package.
Spaces for the Go Wine Lab Giovani are limited, and we recommend making a reservation.
