Caprarola – Presentation “La Tuscia del Vino 2025”

Palazzo Farnese in Caprarola, in the province of Viterbo, will be the setting for the presentation event of the Guide “La Tuscia del Vino 2025,” with more than 190 wineries participating. This will be followed by a dinner in the company of the producers.
The work of preparing the guide “La Tuscia del Vino 2025,” edited by Carlo Zucchetti, allows a close look at the evolution of a territory that in recent years has shown a lively wine activity, declined in a variety of different styles. What unites all these efforts is the love for a land rich not only in agricultural excellence, but also in scenic, archaeological and artistic beauty. This territory is a mosaic of unique experiences, where each wine tells a story and reflects the cultural and natural richness that characterizes it.
“La Tuscia del Vino” is also a guidebook that sits at the intersection of tasting and the culture of places. The routes outlined traverse tangible signs of past eras and historical memories, tracing a region that is both new and ancient. They extend along the boundaries of Tuscia Viterbese and its D.O.C. (Est!Est!!Est!!! of Montefiascone, Aleatico di Gradoli, Vignanello, Tarquinia and Tuscia), I.G.T. (Civitella d’Agliano and Colli Cimini), including also the territories of D.O.C. (Orvieto, Lago di Corbara and Amelia), I.G.T. (Ciliegiolo di Narni and Allerona), D.O.C. Cerveteri and I.G.T. Costa Etrusco Romana as far as Veio, and then reaching north into the lands of D.O.C. (Bianco di Pitigliano, Sovana and Maremma Toscana) and I.G.T. Costa Toscana. A number of wineries stand out for being awarded the Hat, a symbol of consistency and clarity of design, and will be honored during the presentation of the 2025 guide. The guide also points out wineries with agritourism or guest quarters, those offering winery tours and direct sales, and wines that “deserve a long stop.” The appointment is for Monday, Jan. 27, from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Scuderie di Palazzo Farnese in Caprarola, Viterbo. Followed by dinner with the producers
