Champagne Experience 2025: French bubbles showcased in Bologna on October 5 and 6, 2025

On Sunday, Oct. 5 and Monday, Oct. 6, 2025, the highly anticipated Champagne Experience, the landmark Italian event dedicated exclusively to bubbles from beyond the Alps, returns to Bologna.

Every day, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Horeca professionals, sommeliers and wine lovers will be able to immerse themselves in the tasting of prestigious labels: historic maisons and small vignerons will be present with hundreds of champagnes for tasting, divided by geographic area of origin (Montagne de Reims, Vallée de la Marne, Côte des Blancs, Aube and the Classic Maisons), in a journey of territorial and qualitative knowledge.

Champagne Experience is more than just a tasting fair: in fact, it offers a comprehensive program with masterclasses led by industry experts and journalists designed to delve into tasting techniques, grape varieties or particular vintages. The wide presence of importers, distributors and producers makes this edition an ideal platform for professionals to compare notes and for professional updating.

• Sunday, October 5, 2 p.m.: Large formats with Alberto Lupetti
• Monday, October 6, 12:30 p.m. : Spécial Club: is it really special? with Alberto Lupetti and Iacopo Florio
• Monday, Oct. 6, 2 p.m.: From White to Pink with Alberto Lupetti
• Monday, October 6, 3:30 p.m.: Devaux: 25 years of Cuvée D with Alberto Lupetti, Vania Valentini, Jean Noel Girard

Also rich is the Sponsor class program , still being updated: these are appointments organized by our partners to discover and taste champagnes but also products of excellence from the Emilian territory.

The event is promoted by Excellence Srl SIDI, an important Italian organization that groups 21 leading importers and distributors of wines and spirits of excellence. The previous year’s event counted more than 6,000 attendees at the Modena venue, and the move to Bologna is seen as a strategic turning point, thanks to the BolognaFiere trade fair context, a reference point for national and international events that is easily reached by car, train and plane.

For its eighth edition, the event – first hosted in Modena – debuts in its new venue at BolognaFiere – Hall 15, a location chosen for its accessibility and logistical capacity.
