Granaccia & Rossi di Liguria 2025 – On Saturday, November 22 and Sunday, November 23, Ligurian red celebrates its 20th anniversary in Quiliano

On Saturday, Nov. 22 and Sunday, Nov. 23, 2025, the 20th, celebratory edition of Granaccia & Rossi di Liguria, the event that has focused on Liguria’s red and rosé wines for two decades, returns to Quiliano (Savona). The event is organized by the Municipality of Quiliano in collaboration with the Vite in Riviera business network, with the aim of enhancing Ligurian red appellations and providing a meeting point for producers, wine enthusiasts and industry professionals.

What to expect: tastings, masterclasses and side events

The heart of the event will be the maxi tasting, scheduled for Sunday from 2:30 to 7 p.m. at the Palazzetto dello Sport in Quiliano, where more than 60 Ligurian wineries will display their most representative red and rosé labels. Admission is paid, with a reduced rate for HORECA operators, sommeliers and producers with online registration. The day will be preceded by a masterclass and side events on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23.

Ajdovscina District (Slovenia), an area that produces fine red wines and whose municipality is twinned with Quiliano

Granaccia & Rossi di Liguria 2025 is therefore a must-attend event for those who want to learn about the richness of Ligurian reds-from Granaccia, Rossese, Ormeasco, Colli di Luni and other native grape varieties-and for those looking for a complete experience: tasting, learning and conviviality in a context that combines wine and culture.

Friday, 21.11

In the evening arrival of part of the guests and possible initiatives to be determined.

Saturday, 22.11

  • Morning: small tour of the Quilian area for guests already present, with visits and tasting of typical products.
  • Afternoon : “The large Grenache family, through its genetics and territorial translations in Italy,” round table/conference, with tasting, coordinated by Francesco Savero Russo, with talks by experts and representatives of the various territories.
  • Evening: dinner reserved for producers and guests.

Sunday 23.11

  • Morning: “Identity, contemporaneity and versatility of Ligurian reds,” Masterclass led by Francesco Saverio Russo and Jacopo Fanciulli.
  • Afternoon from 2:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Quiliano Sports Hall: Tasting booths (with labels from more than 60 Ligurian wineries, more than half of which are in attendance, and from other territories)
Collateral initiatives
  • Appetizers, dinners and themed dishes at venues in and around Quiliano, also at selected venues in the provinces of Savona and Imperia, in the days before and during the event
  • Guided tours and art exhibitions at Villa Maria and other cultural sites in Quiliano (in collaboration with Fai Savona).
  • Themed showcases on the Quiliano area (in collaboration with Civ Valleggia).
