Il Nizza è… 2025: the event that takes you on a journey to discover all the nuances of Nizza DOCG is back, an experience of tastings, meetings and territories to be experienced

One of the most eagerly awaited appointments for wine enthusiasts is back in Nizza Monferrato: “Il Nizza È… 2025,” the event entirely dedicated to Nizza DOCG, scheduled from October 4 to 6 in the historic Palazzo Crova, home of the Palazzo del Gusto. For three days, the town of Asti will be transformed into a veritable wine stage, welcoming producers, wine professionals, the press and, above all, many enthusiasts eager to immerse themselves in the universe of one of Piedmont’s most distinctive reds.

The event is organized by theRegional Enoteca of Nizza Monferrato, a reference point for the promotion of local wines, with the support of consortia and institutions that have been working together for years to enhance the territory and its productions. It is not just an industry event: “Il Nizza È…” is in fact designed as a moment of encounter between wine lovers and winemakers, an opportunity to discover up close the stories of those who produce wine and tell it with passion.

Participation means an experience that goes beyond just tasting. For professionals, it is a concrete opportunity to update wine lists in view of the fall season, learn about new labels and strengthen direct contacts with producers. For wine tourists, it is an invitation to be guided on a sensory and cultural journey through the hills of Monferrato, with the chance to compare, learn and above all get excited in front of the richness of Nizza DOCG.

The tasting tables

The heart of the event will be the tasting booths, open every day from 10 am to 1 pm and from 2 pm to 8 pm, where it will be possible to taste more than 100 labels of Nizza DOCG from different wineries in the area . A total of 6 stations, designed to allow the public to take a complete journey into the nuances of this wine, born from Barbera grapes and capable of telling the story of the Monferrato hills with elegance and power. The stalls will be open to the public as well as to professional operators and journalists, with the opportunity to engage directly with the producers and delve into the characteristics that make Nizza DOCG unique.

Guest of honor, the Bolgheri Doc.

Alongside the absolute protagonist, the guest of honor will not be missing: the Bolgheri DOC, which will have an entirely dedicated tasting desk, thanks to the collaboration with the Consortium for the Protection of DOC Bolgheri Wines and DOC Bolgheri Sassicaia. A rare opportunity to compare two symbolic territories of Italian enology, Monferrato and the Tuscan coast, different in history and style but united by excellence.
