Nizza È 2026 once again turns the spotlight on one of the most iconic appellations in the Piedmont wine scene, offering a unique opportunity to discover and taste Nizza DOCG, a prime example of the Barbera grape variety. The event is designed for professionals, enthusiasts, and wine lovers who wish to delve deeper into the characteristics of this great wine through a series of tastings, meetings, and discussions in the heart of the region where it originates.
The 2026 edition will take place from Saturday, October 3, through Monday, October 5, at Palazzo Crova – Palazzo del Gusto in Nizza Monferrato (Asti), a venue that over the years has become a hub for promoting local food and wine excellence. For three days, visitors will be able to immerse themselves in the world of Nizza DOCG, discovering its various interpretations and the many nuances that characterize this appellation.
With its format entirely dedicated to exploring Nizza DOCG, *Il Nizza È 2026* reaffirms its role as a key opportunity to promote Monferrato’s wine heritage, offering an experience that combines wine tasting, in-depth analysis, and an understanding of the region where one of Piedmont’s most prestigious wine appellations originates.
The Tasting Counters
The centerpiece of the event will be the “Le sfumature della DOCG” tasting stations, open throughout all three days. Six tasting stations will be set up, where visitors can sample over 100 Nizza DOCG wines, offering a broad and representative overview of the region’s wine production. This initiative will allow visitors to compare different styles, vintages, and interpretations, highlighting the expressive richness of the appellation and the work of the wineries.
The tasting booths will be open from 10:00 a. m. to 1:00 p .m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on October 3, 4, and 5. Admission will be open to the general public, industry professionals, and the press.
The Featured Wine
A guest wine from another Italian region is also scheduled to be featured in 2026 . This initiative broadens the comparison among wine-producing regions and further enriches the tasting experience.

How to Participate
