Open Wineries at Christmas 2025 : December throughout Italy brings the year to a close with a big toast
The month of December 2025 turns into a collective toast thanks to the Christmas edition of Cantine Aperte, the event promoted by Movimento Turismo del Vino (MTV) that brings wine tourists directly to participating wineries scattered throughout Italy.
During this special occasion, member wineries welcome visitors by transforming their spaces into true “taste villages,” with curated atmospheres, tastings, markets, sensory workshops and Christmas offerings designed for young and old alike.
What the 2025 edition offers
The format is dedicated to those who want to have an authentic winery experience during the holiday season: in addition to tasting selected wines and buying bottles – also perfect as gift ideas – participants will be able to participate in show-cooking, tastings of typical regional desserts, music and performances, and guided tours to discover wine production.
MTV wineries are opening their doors in different regions of Italy, each with its own schedule: the date may vary by winery but the date is throughout December 2025.
Reservations are required, while times and costs are at the discretion of each winery.
