Presentation Essential Guide to Italian Wines 2026: October 22 at the Royal Horseguards Hotel-an event open to operators, press and enthusiasts to discover the best of contemporary Italian wine.

Following the success of the Milan and Rome stages, the 12th edition of the Essential Guide to Italian Wines 2026, edited by renowned wine critic Daniele Cernilli, aka DoctorWine, will be presented in London on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at the elegant Royal Horseguards Hotel (2 Whitehall Court, London SW1A 2EJ), just a short walk from Trafalgar Square.

From 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., guests will be able to participate in a walk-around tasting open to the press, industry professionals and wine enthusiasts, featuring a careful selection of top Italian producers.
The event is a unique opportunity to taste, discover and make direct contact with the wineries that best embody the excellence and diversity of Italian wine today. Participants will be able to ask questions and learn about the wines directly from the producers.

Meet the protagonists of the great Italian wines

The tasting will feature a parterre of high-profile Italian wineries, each with a strong territorial identity, including Vietti, San Leonardo, Villa Sandi, Umani Ronchi, Giodo, Lamole di Lamole, Tua Rita, Tenuta Casadei, Masciarelli, Terre de la Custodia, Olianas and others.
Some of these producers are not yet distributed in the UK, thus offering buyers, importers and journalists the opportunity to discover new wines and potential business collaborations in the Italian wine scene.
