The event
Ready to make a comeback for Italy’s first Docg, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, and it will do so Feb. 15-16 with the 31st edition of the Anteprima Vino Nobile di Montepulciano.
It will be possible to taste Vino Nobile di Montepulciano 2022, the vintage ready to be put on the market after the two years of evolution imposed by the production regulations, and Riserva 2021, as well as the other wines produced in the area including the two DOC wines, Rosso di Montepulciano and Vin Santo di Montepulciano. The Preview will take place inside the Montepulciano Fortress, a few steps from Piazza Grande. The Preview of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano is part of the Week of “Previews of Tuscany,” the event promoted by the Region of Tuscany with the Chamber of Commerce of Florence, PromoFirenze and Fondazione Sistema Toscana.
The program
After a first phase dedicated to the public of enthusiasts and industry professionals, the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Preview continues with 2 days exclusively for the accredited press, on February 15 and 16 with the proclamation of the stars (the rating to the vintage with a rating from 1 to 5 stars) for the 2022 vintage on the market from this year.
