Beviamoci Sud 2026 – The great Festival of Southern Italian Wines, in Rome, with tasting tables, masterclasses, Excellence and Southern Ambassadors awards.

Beviamoci Sud is one of the main events dedicated to the wines of Southern Italy, an event that celebrates the extraordinary variety and enological richness of Southern Italy, enhancing native grape varieties, quality producers and territorial wine traditions. The festival was born from the idea and collaboration between Riserva Grande, wine writer Andrea Petrini and journalist Luciano Pignataro, with the aim of creating a space for comparison, tasting and valorization that is truly unique in the Italian scene.

The 7th edition of Beviamoci Sud will be held in Rome at the prestigious The Westin Excelsior on Saturday, January 31 and Sunday, February 1, 2026. The event, which takes place in one of the most iconic hotels in the capital, is an unmissable opportunity for wine enthusiasts, wine lovers, professional operators and specialized press to immerse themselves in the great wine expressions of Italy’s southern regions.

Event dates and times:

• Saturday, January 31, 2026 – tasting booths open from 2 to 8 p.m.
• Sunday, February 1, 2026 – Beviamoci Sud Rome Ambassadors and Excellence Awards Ceremony 11 a.m.
• Sunday, Feb. 1, 2026 – tasting booths open from 2 to 7 p.m.

The event features tasting counters with wines from the best wineries from Campania, Puglia, Basilicata, Calabria, Sicily, Molise and, in the territorial representation, also from Lazio, allowing visitors to discover the very wide range of southern indigenous grape varieties-from Nero d’Avola to Primitivo, fromAglianico to Greco and Falanghina, and many other authentic local expressions of character.

In addition to free tastings, Beviamoci Sud 2026 will feature thematic masterclasses and in-depth sessions led by experts. This will explore territories, winemaking techniques and organoleptic profiles. The program is being updated on the official page

There is no shortage of moments of recognition with dedicated awards: The “Eccellenze di Beviamoci Sud” Award, which celebrates the best wines selected by the technical jury chaired by Luciano Pignataro, and the “Ambassadors of the South” Award, aimed at restaurateurs, wine merchants and communicators who distinguish themselves in promoting southern wine.
