On Monday, May 11, 2026 in Milan, the Consorzio del Vino Brunello di Montalcino is offering an exclusive masterclass dedicated to Rosso di Montalcino, with the aim of overcoming one of the most ingrained clichés in the wine world.

“Rosso di Montalcino: beyond the seasons” is an invitation to reread this wine in a contemporary key: more dynamic, fresh and versatile, capable of expressing itself at its best even in the warmer months.

The focus of the meeting is clear: the goal is to shake the prejudice of the structured red only for winter. The masterclass will demonstrate Rosso di Montalcino’s ability to adapt to cooler serving temperatures (14-16°C) and bold pairings (oily fish, ethnic cuisine, gourmet aperitifs).

An approach that opens up new perspectives for consumption, especially in the restaurant world and in more informal settings , with a look at contemporary market trends.
