DiVino Etrusco Celebrates Its 20th Anniversary: 53 wineries take center stage in Tarquinia for the 20th edition, featuring wineries from the Etruscan Dodecapolis, Calabria, Sicily, and Sardinia
A total of 53 wineries will be featured at the 20th edition of DiVino Etrusco, scheduled for August 20–23 and August 27–29, 2026, in Tarquinia. This milestone confirms the event as one of the most anticipated food and wine festivals of the summer in Tuscia, showcasing the wineries of the Etruscan Dodecapolis and, this year, expanding to include Calabria, Sicily, and Sardinia, through a series of tastings curated by the sommeliers of Fisar Tuscia Viterbese.
The Stars of the Show: The Wineries of the Etruscan Dodecapolis
Tarquinia will be represented by ten wineries that exemplify the richness and quality of the local wine production:
Alongside wineries from Tarquinia, DiVino Etrusco will guide visitors on a journey to discover the other regions of the ancient Etruscan Dodecapolis: Arezzo , Bolsena, Cerveteri, Chiusi, Cortona, and Orvieto. Wineries from Perugia and Vulci will round out the itinerary.
The Mediterranean in a Glass
Once again this year, DiVino Etrusco looks beyond the borders of the Dodecapolis, strengthening the dialogue among regions united by a shared wine culture and Mediterranean history.
In fact, companies from Calabria, Sicily, and Sardinia will be attending the event in Tarquinia.
Twenty Years of Promoting the Region
Over the past twenty years, DiVino Etrusco has helped promote Etruria’s wine and cultural heritage, becoming a well-established summer event. The festival is organized by the City of Tarquinia, in collaboration with Pro Loco Tarquinia and the “hat-wearing” food and wine expert Carlo Zucchetti, under the patronage of the Lazio Region, the Lazio Regional Agency for Agricultural Development and Innovation (ARSIAL), the Province of Viterbo, the Rieti-Viterbo Chamber of Commerce, and the Ministry of Culture—Archaeological Park of Cerveteri and Tarquinia, with the support of the cultural association Viva Tarquinia.
Tasting Menus
There are three options for participating in the tastings:
- The one-day pass allows for unlimited tastings and includes a glass and a shoulder strap.
- The 4-tasting booklet, which also includes a glass and a shoulder strap.
- The 3-tasting booklet is designed for those who want to sample a selection of wines.
