Wine in Venice

The 3rd edition of Wine in Venice, an iconic event that fits into the calendar of major Venetian events such as Carnival and the Film Festival, is coming soon!
What is Wine in Venice
Wine in Venice was born from the need to tell the story of wine in a different and current way. The initial idea was to start with virtuous producers, who work with a vision toward a different future. These producers, regardless of their size and the number of bottles produced, can set an example. Rewarding realities that choose to work inspired by the principles of ethics, sustainability and innovation, with free participation in such an important event, means talking about wine by changing our cultural and analytical paradigms. Tastings, masterclasses and wine talks enliven the first wine red carpet, with the aim of proposing new points of view on wine production. It aims at a broader reflection on our way of life, the role and importance of territorial management, and respect for the context in which we operate. The focus is on choices that winemakers make with a primary perspective of responsibility.
The Program of the Event
From January 31 to February 3, Venice will open the doors of some of its most prestigious and symbolic locations, such as the Scuola Grande della Misericordia, to host this unique event. The four-day main program will be packed with discussions, tastings, presentations and food for thought to outline the industry’s decisive next steps. Numerous side events are also planned in the preceding weeks.
