Elena Walch

Elena Walchʼs is now firmly one of the benchmark wineries in Überetsch. She is based in Tramin, where there are the terraced Kastelaz vineyards overlooking the old village, but a considerable part of the winery is at Ringberg Castle, in the municipality of Kaltern. She is at the helm, but today the estate is run in the hands of daughters Julia and Karoline, the fifth generation of the family. The houseʼs great specialty is Gewürztraminer, but the entire range is characterized by exemplary reliability and a consistently high level of quality.
