Deep straw yellow and scents of medlar and many herbs, sage, marjoram, fennel and olive leaf are recognizable; a hint of hydrocarbons completes the olfactory picture. There is a lot of correspondence on the palate, although the fruit component (prickly pears) is overpowered by the herbaceous aromatic notes, strong acidity and fine, subtle spice; smooth, firm pace.
