Terre Rosse Vallania

Bologna can be seen with the naked eye, so close is it to the vineyards of this winery founded after the war by Enrico Vallania, a doctor with a passion for wine. On the same red soils that give the winery its name, today a very young Enrico Verdilio works, the name evidently quite apt for the place, cultivating on 11 hectares, in power twice as many, native and international varieties. The winery’s labels show that the choice of the early days, especially the choice of international varieties, was exceedingly correct here.
