Vigneti La Selvanella

Vigneti La Selvanella breaks away from Melini and becomes a separate company to emphasize its uniqueness while remaining within the Gruppo Italiano Vini, with shared technical and agronomic management. Selvanella, after all, is a historic Lucarelli vineyard, and the Chianti Classico Riserva that emerges from it is among the very first, if not the first, to bear the vineyard’s name on the label, since 1969. It is therefore a piece of Chianti history that deserves to be valued and known more. Melini, for its part, continues to produce reliable wines on a larger scale, as it has always done.
