Damiano Ciolli

DESCRIPTION
Olevano Romano is a medieval hamlet perched on Mount Celeste, 600 meters above sea level, southeast of Rome. Damiano Ciolli is an enterprising young man with very clear ideas, who since 2001, together with his father Costantino, decided to bottle his own wines, on the strength of an old vineyard planted by his grandfather in 1953. From this vineyard comes Cirsium, the winery’s cru, older brother of Silene, the second Cesanese produced by the small winery. Two examples of authentic Cesanese, both marked by a rustic elegance, to put it with an oxymoron, both with a strong and clear personality.
