Forli – Sapeur

Here comes the 22nd edition of Sapeur, the food and wine fair in Romagna, at the Forli Fairgrounds Jan. 24-26.
Sapeur is a journey to rediscover the taste and culinary traditions of the Regions from all over Italy, among flavors, fragrances and the artisanal excellence of our food and wine. A walk among hundreds of regional stands offering free tastings for all palates. An extraordinary variety of typical and genuine food products , hard to find in large-scale distribution and retail food stores. Sapeur is divided into 4 thematic areas: inside, Forlì Wine Festival, a pavilion entirely dedicated to wine; Food is Health, dedicated to gastronomy not found in the supermarket, including organic; Happy Beer Festival with Italian and foreign craft breweries; and the Le Vie del Verde section dedicated to gardening.
Sapeur – Forli Wine Festival:
A tour of Italy, goblet in hand, to learn about many types of wines: natural, organic, biodynamic, mountain, from heroic viticulture, from the sea, from the hills, from the plains, from independent winemakers and from small emerging realities or those already established. You will find more than 200 varieties of wines including white, red, rosé, sparkling and raisin wines presented by the guest producers of the exhibition market, to taste and buy. To conclude, a selection dedicated to spirits and liqueurs, from brandies to the best grappas, from vodka to gin to brandies. Niche productions using all-natural raw materials derived from infusions, distillations of local herbs and fruits.
Sapeur – Happy Beer Festival:
At Happy Beer Festival space is given to independent craft beer production, Pils, IPAs, Trappist, Blanche, Biodynamic, Stout, Lager Pale Ale, flavored in the most varied fragrances, juxtaposed with workshops and tasting routes. A showcase for hop lovers, but also for street-food, thanks to the presence of numerous food trucks.
Sapeur – Food is health:
Area dedicated to natural and organic food, with many zero-mile products, a special focus on macrobiotic, the proposal of exhibitors and nutritionists specialized in a cuisine that takes into account allergies and intolerances: gluten, yeast, lactose and nickel. Because food must first and foremost be synonymous with health. A section that demonstrates how foods, with their nutritional principles, are the basis of our daily well-being.
Sapeur – The ways of the green:
To the roots of food goes all the way the “Le Vie del Verde” section, dedicated to those who love greenery, gardening, hobby horticulture or who want to create their own home vegetable garden. Plants, bulbs, equipment, professional tools and utensils, green decor solutions and accessories will be on display at the fair.
