Milan – Wine for Earth

Kicking off with DoctorWine the 1st edition of Wine for Earth: Sustainability and Enology meet Companies, Consortia, Institutions and the general public in the context of the presentation of the Essential Guide to the Wines of Italy 2026.

In the iconic setting of Milan’s Hotel Principe di Savoia on Saturday, Oct. 4 and Sunday, Oct. 5, the first edition of the event will promote the‘meeting between the world of winemaking and the issues of environmental and social sustainability.

The event Wine For Earth. was born thanks to the combined effort of DoctorWine and Earth Day Italia to celebrate the union between wine excellence and the commitment to a sustainable future, in the context of the presentation of the Essential Guide to the Wines of Italy 2026.

Leading this fundamental dialogue are two leading protagonists: director Daniele Cernilli, aka DoctorWine, and Pierluigi Sassi, president of Earth Day Italia, the Italian and European branch of the Washington-based NGO EARTHDAY.ORG, which coordinates the activities of the world’s largest environmental event. A partnership that combines the highest expertise on wine with the highest sensitivity on environmental issues.

The Wine For Earth program is designed to offer unique in-depth moments between Talk Shows and Masterclasses.

  “The Sustainable Vision of Herita Marzotto Wine Estates.”

• 4 to 5 p.m. – CONSORZIO VINO NOBILE DI MONTEPULCIANO
  “Vino Nobile di Montepulciano and its Sustainable Parishes.”

It will be possible to taste with a combo ticket, the excellences of the more than 200 wineries present at the presentation event of the Essential Guide to the Wines of Italy 2026: Masterclass participants will have access to the 1-day Tasting Booths at a total cost of €60 (Masterclass + entrance 1 day of tasting), while access to both days of tasting will have a total cost of €90 (Masterclass + entrance 2 days of tasting).
