On May 9 at the Le Méridien Visconti hotel in Rome there will be a big event to celebrate 15 years of DoctorWine. There will be 52 wineries that have Three Stars in The Essential Guide to Italian Wines 2026 and two extraordinary masterclasses.
It will be a big party that we are organizing on Saturday, May 9, at the Hotel Le Méridien Visconti in Rome. It will be for the 15 Years of DoctorWine, to introduce our app, which I find beautiful and useful, and to dedicate it to our readers.
Simply register and, while places last, you will be able to access the tasting for free. There is a small fee of 25 euros for the two scheduled masterclasses. The first one dedicated to the 35 years of Masciarelli’s Marina Cvetic line, with a vertical of 8 vintages of Trebbiano d’Abruzzo Riserva Marina Cvetic at 3:30 pm. The second at 5:30 p.m. will be dedicated to San Leonardo, the red wine of the year 2026 and another 4 vintages.
There will be wines from 52 of the best Italian wineries, all awarded Three Stars by the Essential Guide 2026, and, I repeat, admission will be free for those who have registered. Because it will be first and foremost a party and readers will be the invited. We already have several hundred registrants, soon the places will be sold out, we will not be able to accept everyone, at least exceed 500 attendance, which is almost reached. We apologize to those who could not register, but space and safety are crucial elements for the success of such an event.
It will serve to celebrate us and you, and also the world of quality Italian wine, which at times like these needs to affirm its existence and vitality.
