At the Petrolo estate, dominated by the Galatrona tower, Luca Sanjust produces wines of the highest caliber with the help of Carlo Ferrini. The estate’s portfolio of vineyards is now well established, with the Cabernet Sauvignon-based Campolusso joining Bòggina (and Bòggina Anfora) and, above all, Galatrona, which has become “Vigna Galatrona” Valdarno di Sopra DOC. This is a very significant development for the region following the successful “InArno” initiative, which brings together grapes from many local growers to create a regional wine that originates from the grassroots.
