Alba – Wine Tasting Experience 2026
The Wine Tasting Experience® returns to downtown Alba thanks to a partnership with the Albeisa Consortium
The original Wine Tasting Experience® of the Barolo Route and Great Wines of Langa returns to the heart of Alba, with a completely revamped program of 12 events dedicated to the King of Wines, hosted in the splendid and well-equipped tasting room of the Albeisa Consortium, located at Piazza Vittorio Veneto 7, 12051 Alba (CN)
An in-depth exploration of the Langhe’s wine excellence will be the central theme of the new program, designed for an international, young audience eager to discover the world of wine in an original way. The events will take place during the weeks when the region is at its most attractive, thanks to the Alba White Truffle season, offering visitors an additional opportunity to round out their experience in the Langhe with a tasting tour dedicated to Barolo.
From October 10 to November 14, 2026, for six consecutive Saturdays, the following events will take place in two sessions, at 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.:
- Barolo Essentials: a guided tasting of three wines—a 100% Nebbiolo, a classic Barolo, and a Barolo cru. A journey that will help you recognize nuances, characteristics, and evolution through a sensory exploration.
- Barolo DOCG Vertical Tasting: An immersive tasting offering the chance to explore the complexity and evolution of this prestigious wine.
- Blind Tasting of 3 Barolo DOCG 2022 Crus: An experiential tasting of three different Barolo DOCG wines to test participants’ sensory skills and expertise in identifying the unique characteristics of each cru.
The Wine Tasting Experience® will be led by the same instructor in Italian and English, and the tastings will last about one hour. Tickets can be purchased in advance online for 36.00 € per person and include instructional materials (in Italian and English).
