Best Wine Stars 2025: The National Industry Fair is ready to welcome you to its sixth edition.

It is the most anticipated and relevant event in the Italian and international food and wine scene. The Milan event celebrates wines, spirits and gastronomic excellence with a program full of tastings, master classes and award ceremonies.

Now in its sixth year, it returnsMay 17-19, at the Ice Palace.

During the three-day event, the public will have the opportunity to taste more than 1,200 products
from all over Italy and abroad, thanks to an immersive and articulated format that includes
unlimited tastings, cultural highlights, face-to-face meetings with producers,
masterclasses and guided tastings, with the possibility of purchasing products directly on location at
exhibition.

The new edition comes with a revamped and even more experiential program,
designed to engage industry professionals, trade press, buyers, sommeliers,
digital creators and enthusiasts who are increasingly focused on quality and product storytelling.

The subject areas

The event’s well-established thematic areas include: Wine Italy, Wine
International, Spirits, Group, Bio, Food Area and Tasting Area. To these are added theArea

internationalization, development and innovation, which will further enrich the

Milan plant, followed by a concluding aperitif on the new green terrace. QR codes will also be available at location

Best Wine Stars Awards

On Sunday, May 18, at 10 a.m., one of the most anticipated events of the event will be held at the Ice Palace: the Best Wine Stars Awards, during which the category winners, selected by a qualified jury, will be announced. We will find out together who will win the 2025 titles of:

• Best White Wine and Best Deal, new this year, awarded to the label demonstrating the best value for money will be awarded by Valentina Vercelli – Journalist of La Cucina Italiana and Condé Nast Traveller,
• Best Red Wine and Best Rosè Wine, awarded by Stefania Vinciguerra – professional journalist editor-in-chief of DoctorWine and the Essential Guide to the Wines of Italy,
• Best Sparkling Wine awarded by Adua Villa – writer, digital storyteller, sommelier and entrepreneur,
• Finally, the two awards dedicated to the spirits category: Best Spirit and Best Herbal Liqueu, will be awarded by Fabio Bacchi – Founder of BarTales and Roma Bar Show.

Special Awards

The following will also be awarded special awards for innovative projects:

• the Best Green Project, an award given by Attilio Viganò – Commercial Director of Vetrobalsamo, for the project that will stand out for its attention to environmental sustainability.
• Best Vinum Innovation, awarded by Adua Villa – writer, digital storyteller, sommelier and entrepreneur, will go to the project or technical insight that enhances local wine culture in an innovative way.
• Finally, the Best Hospitality Project, awarded by Andrea Guolo – Director of Vino News 24 and Italianwinetour,
  will recognize excellence in corporate hospitality, encompassing reception, overnight stay,
  catering, tasting, entertainment and MICE (Meeting, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions).

Also reconfirmed are the Milano Wine Explorer, a selection of the best places in Milan and
Lombardy for wines and spirits, creating a special guide for food and wine enthusiasts, and the
Best Buyer Selection: an exclusive contest that will see distributors and Ho.Re.Ca. operators tasting
and selecting the most promising labels, with a look at market dynamics, the panel of
