Flos Olei Tour in Rome: in December, the capital celebrates the excellence of extra virgin olive oil in the world

Rome returns to be the international stage of extra virgin olive oil with the Flos Olei Tour in Rome, the event that brings together in the Capital the best producers in the world selected by the prestigious guide Flos Olei. An event that, once again this year, confirms itself as a point of reference for enthusiasts, insiders and those who want to deepen the culture of quality oil through an experiential and engaging approach.

The Rome tour represents the central stage of a global journey dedicated to EVOO of excellence. In December, in the refined setting of The Westin Excelsior Rome , which will host the 2025 edition, visitors will be able to meet producers not only from Italy’s olive-growing regions, but also from many countries in the Mediterranean and around the world. A unique sensory overview that tells of the extraordinary biodiversity of extra virgin olive oil, from the most famous cultivars to rare expressions of lesser-known territories.

Between tasting benches, thematic masterclasses and dedicated meetings, Flos Olei Tour in Rome aims to educate the public to recognize quality and interpret the nuances of EVOO: intensity, aromatic balances, bitterness and spiciness, and clean sip. A real journey among scents of green tomato, almond, artichoke, freshly cut grass, guiding to the discovery of the thousand identities of contemporary extra virgin oil.

The Flos Olei Guide 2026

A central role is given to the new edition of the Flos Olei 2026 guide, considered the most authoritative international publication dedicated to extra virgin olive oil. Each year it selects, evaluates and narrates the companies that best interpret the relationship between territory, cultivar and production savoir-faire. The tour thus becomes the perfect opportunity to meet in person the protagonists of these excellences and to understand firsthand the agronomic and technological choices that lead to the birth of great oils.
