Vinointorno 2026: one of the most anticipated festivals in Central Italy returns to Olevano Romano

Olevano Romano is preparing to host a new edition of Vinointorno, the event dedicated to wine and quality food that over the years has become one of the most interesting events in the Lazio food and wine scene.

Born in 2013 from an idea of the Extrawine Events association, the festival brings hundreds of labels from all over Italy to the village of Terre del Cesanese every year, along with artisanal producers, tastings and routes dedicated to the culture of taste.

Wine as a tale of territory and identity

More than just a wine event, Vinointorno is a true experiential journey that focuses on the relationship between wine, territory and conviviality.

Among the alleys and squares of Olevano Romano, the public will be able to taste wines from many Italian regions, with a special focus on small artisanal productions and the grape varieties that are the identity of the Lazio region, starting with Cesanese.

Alongside the wine trail, the event also highlights local cuisine through street food, gourmet cicchetti and traditional dishes prepared by the village businesses.

Tastings, producers and taste trails

Past editions have hosted dozens of wineries from all over Italy, with tasting counters dedicated to great reds, territorial wines, bubbles and artisanal productions.

The format includes widespread tasting routes, meetings with producers and in-depth moments dedicated to contemporary food and wine culture. Along with wine, gastronomic specialties, agricultural products, extra virgin olive oil, cured meats, cheeses and local cuisine will also find space.

An event that enhances the Cesanese Lands

One of the distinctive elements of Vinointorno is the strong link with the territory of Olevano Romano and the Cesanese Lands, an area historically devoted to viticulture and increasingly appreciated by wine lovers in Central Italy.

Among medieval walls, scenic views and food and wine trails, the event offers an immersive experience capable of combining tasting, local culture and village enhancement.
