Press Days Rebel Queen – Vernaccia di San Gimignano: May 28 and 29, 2026 San Gimignano prepares to welcome the press

San Gimignano is preparing to welcome journalists from all over Italy and abroad for the Press Days of Regina Ribelle – Vernaccia di San Gimignano: two days full of content, designed to Telling from the inside one of the most identifiable whites on the Tuscan wine scene.

Thursday, May 28

It starts on Thursday, May 28 from the R. De Grada Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, the event’s main venue, with the presentation of the new vintages of Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG and Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG Riserva.

From 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. tastings with sommelier service will provide time and space to explore, taste, and compare.

In the afternoon, Dante Hall hosts a seminar curated by Filippo Bartolotta, an authoritative voice in food and wine journalism, for a moment of reflection and debate on Vernaccia di San Gimignano and its role in the contemporary wine scene.

The evening closes with a signature dinner by the Fishermen of Orbetello at the Lunaria Tuscany spaces.

Friday, May 29

The next day, Friday, May 29, is the day dedicated to Press Tours, which will take journalists directly to the wineries of the producers participating in Wine Fest. This is a unique opportunity to experience firsthand the daily work of those who make this denomination great.

Instead, the evening will open with the inauguration of Stefano Bombardieri’s Personal Exhibition, followed by a Gala Dinner in Piazza del Duomo signed by Chef Nicola Gronchi of the Da Romano restaurant-one Michelin star-accompanied by Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG and the presentation of a work created especially for the denomination.

Two days of work, discussion and discovery to really get to know Vernaccia di San Gimignano, from vineyard to goblet.
