Rome Hortus Vini 2026

Rome Hortus Vini 2026: tasting under the stars organized by Luca Maroni returns to the Botanical Garden
June 12-14 sees the return of Roma Hortus Vini, the event conceived by Luca Maroni that transforms Rome’sBotanical Garden into one of the most evocative places of the Roman summer.
Now in its seventh edition, the format features three evenings dedicated to native Italian grape varieties in an immersive setting of historic gardens, outdoor tastings, music and sensory trails in the heart of Trastevere.
Vineyard Italy protagonist of the experience
Heart of the event will once again be “Vigneto Italia.” The unique itinerary is dedicated to native grape varieties from different Italian regions, told through free tastings and meetings with the wineries present.
The public will be able to build their own tasting itinerary by ideally traversing wine Italy, without obligatory routes, among labels from numerous regions and selected producers.
Moonlight tastings between art and entertainment
Roma Hortus Vini combines the world of wine with the world of art and entertainment. The evenings will be accompanied by live music, artistic performances and the “Dégustation sur l’herbe,” a format created by Luca Maroni to experience wine in a relaxed and convivial way within the spaces of the Botanical Garden.
The 2026 edition will also feature an artistic performance conceived and interpreted by Michele La Ginestra, helping to transform the event into a true multi-sensory experience.
An event celebrating Italy’s native grape varieties
More than just a wine festival, Rome Hortus Vini confirms itself as a great tale of Italian wine identity through its historical grape varieties.
Between tastings under the stars, botanical trails and summer atmospheres, the event offers an experience capable of combining wine, culture and landscape in one of the capital’s most fascinating places.
