First edition of Slow Move Fest: June 26–28 in Trevinano in Tuscia, the Slow Tourism Festival. Over 50 free experiences for all ages and tastes in a village nestled between three regions

The first edition of Slow Move Fest, the first slow tourism festival for inland areas organized by Slow Food Viterbo and Tuscia for the Municipality of Acquapendente as part of the Ri-Wind project, funded by the National Plan, the first edition of Slow Move Fest, the first festival dedicated to slow tourism in inland areas, organized by Slow Food Viterbo and Tuscia for the Municipality of Acquapendente as part of the Ri-Wind project, funded by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NextGenerationEU).

The festival features over 50 events, all free of charge, divided into five categories: Flavors, Meetings and Performances, Photography, Excursions, and Children. This small village in Lazio, located in Alta Tuscia, lies right on the border with Umbria and Tuscany—a unique geographical location that makes it famous for the fusion of the culinary and wine traditions of the three regions along the route of the Via Francigena.

Over the weekend, the program includes hiking, biking, and horseback riding in the beautiful Monte Rufeno Nature Reserve; guided tours of Acquapendente—known as the “Jerusalem of Europe”—and the castles of Torre Alfina and Proceno; culinary workshops and cooking demonstrations to discover local producers and products, guided wine tastings, farm-to-table street food, fun educational activities for children, musical performances and street artists, presentations of projects for local development, and landscape photography workshops.

A program for all ages and interests that can be tailored to your needs and tastes, made possible through the collaboration of numerous local organizations and others.
