From April 20 to 23, 2026 returns to Bordeaux one of the most important and strategic events on the international wine scene: the UGCB Bordeaux En Primeur Week, organized by theUnion des Grands Crus de Bordeaux.

An unmissable event reserved for wine professionals and the trade press. Each year it brings together operators, buyers and journalists from around the world in the world’s wine capital to discover a preview of the new vintage of the great wines of Bordeaux.

An exclusive preview: the 2025 vintage

The heart of the event is the en primeur presentation of the 2025 vintage. Wines still being aged then, tasted directly from the barriques or first selections, before they are even released on the market.

In fact, the “en primeur” system represents a peculiarity of Bordeaux, It allows wines to be purchased while they are still in the cellar, often well in advance of bottling, while at the same time offering a key moment of quality assessment for the entire industry.

Tastings between city and château

The week opens on Monday, April 20, with the official presentation of the vintage atHangar 14, a historic space overlooking the Garonne. Here the first tastings dedicated to operators and the press take place.

In the following days, April 21-23, the experience moves directly to the production territories, with tastings organized by appellation within some of Bordeaux’s most prestigious châteaus.

An immersive tour that allows visitors to delve into the different identities of the appellations-from Pauillac to Saint-Émilion, from Margaux to Pessac-Léognan-through direct contact with producers and terroirs.
