Vinitaly and the City Sibari, the wine event of the year, between glasses and archaeology, in the National Archaeological Park of Sibari

For the second year in a row, the Vinitaly and the City event, the festival dedicated to wine excellence, will take place in the splendid setting of the National Archaeological Park of Sibari, in the town of Cassano all’Ionio (CS).

Vinitaly and the City is the only “fuori salone” in Italy linked to the national kermesse. After Calabria’s success at the Vinitaly 2025 edition, a perfect showcase for the 91 regional companies involved, including wineries and bitters producers, Vinitaly in Sibari is ready to repeat the success with a unique event of its kind: an opportunity for tourism promotion, with special attention to the Sibaritide territory and its valuable accommodation facilities.

The event returns to where it all began, highlighting the thousand-year history of wine in Calabria and the earliest evidence of winemaking, including archaeology and ancient production techniques. A must-attend event for lovers of good wine and more, capable of combining the identity of the territory with flavors and culture.

The event is July 18-20 in the Archaeological Park of Sybaris.

In the picturesque setting of the Horse Park, the large Mediterranean wine shop will be set up with the best wines from Calabria.
