The protagonists of Italian oenology meet professionals and enthusiasts for a Full Immersion in “auteur” wine in Forte dei Marmi, in two days dedicated to high quality drinking.

From the Dolomite Alps to the white marbles of the Apuan Alps, that is, from Cortina to the Forte dei Marmi coastline. The historic Italian wine magazine Civiltà del bere reproposes the maritime edition of its popular event. The well-known VinoVip event, which brings together the big names of oenology and emerging producers every two years in Cortina d’Ampezzo, in the summer of 2025 returns to the Forte shore, where two editions have already been held, in 2018 and 2023.

VinoVip hosts in Versilia the Gotha of Italian wine production, with top wineries, great
signatures (the Protagonists on Monday, June 9), new Italian challenges, and a focus dedicated to white fine wines.

VinoVip is not just a tasting, but two days of discussion open to the public, during which
internationally renowned names meet in one of the most popular tourist destinations. The event culminates with a
wine tasting dedicated to the big names of national oenology.

The Municipality of Forte dei Marmi has enthusiastically welcomed the idea of an edition of VinoVip al Forte. Mayor
Bruno Murzi said, “Forte dei Marmi is a unique reality at the national level: in an area of just
9 square kilometers we find as many as four starred restaurants that are a boast for the city and for the municipal administration
, which recently honored them with an award. Also by virtue of this, I am particularly happy to be able to host VinoVip, a prestigious event that complements the tradition of excellence in the culinary art of Forte dei Marmi.”

From an idea of Civiltà del Bere

VinoVip al Forte is the brainchild of Civiltà del Bere and is coordinated by the magazine’s editor and publisher
Alessandro Torcoli, joined by communicator Gianni Mercatali and journalist and food and wine critic Aldo Fiordelli. The event enjoys the patronage of the City of Forte dei Marmi (Lucca).

“Forte’s is the “maritime” alternative to our very successful VinoVip Cortina, the flagship event of
Civiltà del bere for more than 20 years,” said Alessandro Torcoli, publisher and editor of the magazine. “We
found in Forte dei Marmi the ideal place, as the affinities between the two resorts are many:
elegance, exclusivity, quality, international fame. As always, VinoVip also proposes central themes for Italian enology, and this year they will be prestige whites and the future as seen by young people.”

The Program:

Sunday, June 8:

• 3 p.m. Lecture on white fine wines in the world with Aldo Fiordelli, senior editor of James Suckling and contributor to Civiltà del Bere, .
• 4:30 pm Tasting of Italian white fine wines, a time of extreme interest for professionals and connoisseurs of great wine. Tasting dedicated to national fine whites that represent the challenge of the coming years.

Monday, June 9:

• 10 a.m., traditional VinoVip talk-show, which this year is titled “The world of wine told by those who will make it.” Young and very young protagonists who will draw the new forms of Italian enology.
• at the end will be announced the winner of the Pino Khail Prize “for the enhancement of Italian wine,” named after the founder of Civiltà del bere. It has previously been awarded to Lucio Caputo, Lucio Tasca, Piero Antinori, Pio Boffa (Pio Cesare), Piero Mastroberardino, Chiara Lungarotti and Marina Cvetic.
• from 5 to 9 p.m. closes the event with the VinoVip Grand Tasting with the Protagonists of VinoVip at Forte
  2025. It will be an opportunity to taste the wines of the companies that have written the history of one of the iconic products of Made in Italy.
