Voghera – Oltregusto – Oltrepò the Land of Pinot Noir

September 7 - September 8

OltreGusto – Oltrepò, the Land of Pinot Noir: On September 7 and 8, the sixth edition of the event organized by the Oltrepò Pavese Consortium will introduce a new partnership to showcase Pinot Noir and the outstanding food and wine specialties of the region—and beyond.

The year 2026, which marked the official launch of Classese and the announcement of a new project for still wines featuring the historic Montenapoleone designation, also brings another milestone for the Oltrepò Pavese Wine Consortium. It sees the debut of OltreGusto – Oltrepò, the Land of Pinot Noir, which combines the sixth edition of the Consortium’s event dedicated to DOCG Traditional Method sparkling wines and DOC Pinot Noir (red wines) with the second edition of OltreGusto, celebrating local flavors and outstanding food and wine excellence.

Opening Ceremony at the Valentino Garavani Theatre

The opening ceremony will take place on Monday, September 7, in the enchanting setting of the Valentino Garavani Theatre in Voghera (Pavia Province), where at 9:30 a.m., the event will open with institutional greetings, followed by a technical masterclass led by Alessandro Masnaghetti, the leading authority in the creation of wine region maps. During the session, he will present the research and mapping work carried out across the territory over the past few months, which has resulted in the publication of a concise volume highlighting the key features that define the Oltrepò Pavese wine landscape, together with the essential 2D and 3D maps of the region.

Oltrepò Terra di Pinot Nero

The dishes prepared during the shows will then be served to participants in a finger food format, allowing them to enjoy a complete gastronomic experience.
