Brothers Michele and Vittorio Verzillo, professionals engaged in other fields and wine enthusiasts, got involved as winemakers by buying two small vineyards in the Castel Campagnano area, the beating heart of native casavecchia and pallagrello vines. Since 2016, their first year of production, they have achieved continuous acclaim, thanks in part to the contribution of winemaker Gennaro Reale, who has shared the project since its inception. Aia delle Monache is under organic agronomic management and has one of the most beautiful vineyards in the entire area overlooking Mount Matese and Mount Taburno.
