Ornellaia and Masseto

The sumptuous flagships of the now separate Frescobaldi-owned estates manage to amaze by outdoing themselves every day. The projects are many and ambitious, as evidenced by the construction of a separate winery for Masseto opened in April 2019, the birth of the second Massetino wine, and the consolidation of Ornellaia Bianco from a parcel of Sauvignon Blanc. Director “of change” Axel Heinz is now back in Bordeaux, but the technical staff that supported him in recent years has already taken over the reins of production under the direction of Marco Balsimelli.
