Santa Margherita

DESCRIPTION
1935, the Santa Margherita winery was founded at the desire of textile entrepreneur Count Gaetano Marzotto. The Pinot Grigio epic began here in 1960, when the winery began producing its own, which in a few years became Italy’s most famous white wine in the world, launching a fashion that more than half a century later shows no sign of ending. Today Santa Margherita is a leader on the national market, and not only, with its parent winery in Villanova di Fossalta di Portogruaro. Its galaxy includes Lamole di Lamole, Vistarenni and the Sassoregale Estate in Tuscany, the South Tyrolean Kettemeir and the Sicilian Terreliade.
