100% Sangiovese. Matures in 25- and 30-hl barrels for 24 months. Ruby garnet. Intense and varied nose with hints of underbrush and bark, elegant spice, hinted black fruit, plum. An austere but intriguing wine with a dense flavor texture, linear progression and clear tannins of excellent quality that accompany toward a juicy, long finish with a faint hint of dried fruit.
