Sustainability and Enology meet Companies, Consortia, Institutions and the general public in the context of the presentation of the Essential Guide to the Wines of Italy 2026 for the first edition of Wine for Earth.
In the iconic setting of Milan’s Hotel Principe di Savoia on Saturday, October 4 and Sunday, October 5, the first edition of the event will promote themeeting between the world of oenology and the themes of environmental and social sustainability.
The wine world’s most current challenge has a new, prestigious stage. On Saturday, October 4 and Sunday, October 5, 2025, the elegant halls of the Hotel Principe di Savoia of Milan, a symbol of international hospitality and luxury, will host the first edition of Wine For Earth. The event was created through the combined efforts of DoctorWine and Earth Day Italy to celebrate the union of wine excellence and commitment to a sustainable future, in the context of the presentation of the Essential Guide to the Wines of Italy 2026.
Leading this fundamental dialogue are two leading protagonists: director Daniele Cernilli, aka DoctorWine, e Pierluigi Sassi, president of Earth Day Italy, the Italian and European headquarters of the Washington-based NGO EARTHDAY.ORG, which coordinates the activities of the world’s largest environmental event. A partnership that combines the highest expertise on wine with the highest sensitivity to environmental issues.
The Wine For Earth program is designed to offer unique moments of insight between Talk Shows e Masterclasses, an unmissable opportunity to get up close and personal with some of Italy’s most prestigious wineries.
