A picture-postcard setting welcomed Lorenzo Landi, an agronomist and oenologist of great experience and profound knowledge, to Brussels yesterday. In fact, DoctorWine organized two masterclasses and a tasting dedicated to a group of 15 producers united by his advice.
A warm, almost early summer day and the Grand Place, with its shining buildings of glass and spires, welcomed a great selection of Italian wines.

La Maison du Cygne hosted for DoctorWine, in collaboration with the local Vinopres, a tasting and two masterclasses with 15 producers united by the technical guidance of Lorenzo Landi. A career spanning more than 25 years, an international reputation and a down-to-earth philosophy that shines through clearly in the wines: non-invasive excellence.
A journey through wine-growing Italy
It was a unique journey through Italy’s most iconic wine landscapes that highlighted the synergy between scientific precision and respect for territorial identity.
Unlike many consultants who impose a “distinctive style,” Landi is valued for his ability to remain “invisible,” allowing the unique characteristics of the soil and grape to emerge in the glass.
“Our goal is not only to produce great wines, but to produce wines that are an authentic expression of their origin- says Lorenzo Landi –. In Brussels we are proud to present companies that have embraced this vision, combining traditional heritage with modern, sustainable winemaking practices.”
Great success with the public
Masterclasses packed with buyers, importers, trade journalists, and wine educators were attentively and passionately attended. The same passion and meticulousness put forth by Landi in his recounting, in fluent French, of soils, territories and varieties up and down the pensola.
These are the companies present at the tasting tables:

Because DoctorWine is also this

It is making contacts, communicating in the round especially at this time of extreme uncertainty. Bringing together Italian producers united by solid quality and shared values. Because it is precisely the producers, with their excellent wines and their constant work of research, study and improvement, who carry high the flag of the Made in Italy oenology outside our borders. Creating opportunities, new relationships and opening up markets that are always curious to discover and rediscover wines and grape varieties that only our country has to offer. And it was a joy.
